Karen is a brilliant photographer, a lovely person, and was an absolute pleasure to work with. We met with her a couple of times before the wedding, once for a practice shoot, and when we told her what we envisioned for the day, she offered us expert suggestions on how to structure things so they ran smoothly and how to feel comfortable in front of the camera. Her kind and warm nature was very reassuring and neither of us ever felt awkward or uncomfortable. The wedding spanned a couple of days, included traditions from various cultures, and had 250 guests, but Karen was totally unfazed. She took everything in her stride even when we totally ignored the schedule in favour of a more ‘go with the flow’ approach. The photographs she sent us were amazing: full of colour and character. They truly captured the playfulness of the day and it was such a joy to see so many special moments. Several of our guests have commented on the fact that they hadn’t even realised a photographer was present – something that they had never experienced before at a wedding. There is no one else we would have wanted to document our day and we will treasure Karen’s photographs forever.

Karen is amazing.
Karen photographed our May wedding at Tewin Bury Farm, and I really cannot sing her praises enough. I spoke to a number of photographers in the preperation for our wedding and it was by chance that I met Karen at a wedding fayre when I was just about to go with another supplier. She has such a lovely way about her and I instantly felt at ease. As soon as I saw a sample of her photos I knew I had to book her. My other half was much more reluctant about the photography as he did not want it to "take over the whole day". We met Karen for a pre-wedding shoot about 6 weeks before the wedding, as reluctant as he was he couldn't help but admit that she was wonderful. Having been completely chilled out in the run up to the wedding I suddenly turned into a nervous wreck on the day, but Karen was a complete superstar and really helped to make me feel comfortable. She got the photos we wanted but in a way that made it feel chilled out and relaxed. I received our photos a few days ago; the end results were fantastic and have brought back all the wonderful memories we felt from the day. I think the best thing about Karen is not only is she a super talented photographer, she understands that each bride and groom are different and she photographs to suit the couple. Plus she is a lovely lady who I can honestly say it was a pleasure to meet. I cannot recommend her enough!

We’d heard a few disaster stories from friends about their wedding photos so we met several photographers beforehand as we wanted to get it right. Karen was definitely the best photographer we could have chosen. As soon as we met her we realised how professional she is, but also so friendly and easy going. The last thing we wanted was to feel bossed around and we knew this wouldn’t be the case with Karen. Karen was very thorough establishing exactly what sort of photos we wanted, and for us we wanted as informal as possible. We met up at the venue 1 month prior to the wedding to work out exactly where we wanted particular photos (at no extra cost). This was really helpful and Karen even brought a bouquet I could practice holding which in hindsight was such a good idea! On the day of the wedding Karen was so discreet you hardly realised she was there. After the wedding, the photos were put together in a personalised dvd case which looks absolutely stunning. Karen had managed to get fantastic photos of absolutely everyone who was there (including the evening guests). She is amazing at capturing the moment/mood – lots of laughter shots which we love. Karen stayed until it was dark outside, which meant we got even more atmospheric photos – just great. Karen is a fantastic photographer and you really can’t go wrong if you decide to hire her for any event.

Natural shots were also taken and the session did not disturb Harry at all. In fact he really played into the camera. Karen knew exactly how to get the pictures of Harry just perfect.
